Something a little different to the usual colour photo’s can be found here. In order to give a better perspective of the site I’ve included a number of 3-D photo’s. To see them in their full glory you’ll need a pair of red / cyan coloured glasses. These can often be found on the front of kids comics or can be bought here for less than £5 by quoting code CD0810.

How Was It Done?3D_Setup

Two identical digital cameras were mounted side by side on a piece of wood and tripod mounted. Each camera was triggered at the same time and the resultant images merged to form a 3D picture using a free piece of software called Anaglyph Maker version 1.08.

Why not download it and try it yourself, it doesn’t have to be for things of an archaeological nature?

It’s dead easy and quite effective!
